Why do you train? To be ready.

How to get started? There is no secret or a silver bullet. When we performed a pushup, we began to train.

For years, I had not paid attention to terminologies. Recently, when reading books from StrongFirst.com, I use the term training. I train. I do not work out or exercise. I train. Period. I train to prepare myself for whatever life brings to me. Life happens for me, not to me. However, the challenges it gave are to me. I should be ready to accept them.

When to train? The best is early in the morning before the day starts.

How to wake up early? Set the alarm. When it rings, get the fuck up. Do not think of anything else. Before bed, repeat "I get up at 5:00" a few times.

Start small and simple. An easy walk, jog, and a few pushups. Pick up some weight with a kettlebell, dumbbell, or whatever is heavy.

Once started, keep going.
